Ms. Ty Powell is a true light. By the time I met her, the confidence I had in my voice was at its lowest. She saw within me what I couldn't find and spoke words into me that I hadn't heard. She didn't just use her own words either. She brought me around people who helped build my confidence and my skills. Those people, along with her, I now call family. Any time I dip into doubt, she pulls me right out. By the way she pours into others, many may think life has treated her well, but truly, she is one of the strongest women I know. Ty Powell has inspired me to chase all of my dreams. She even helped me get my music heard by some major people. She has always been a great role model and mentor to me. She even inspired me to be the mentor that I am today. I am very thankful for her and all she does for her community.

Ty came into my life through work and I ended up with the big sister I never had but always wanted. She was my rock on the days I just wanted to quit. I went through a life scare and Ty was right there with me, calling every day and coming up with a plan to help me get back on track. She showed me that when someone truly loves and cares for you, they show it through their actions, never just their words. God did something special when he made this woman, and I am grateful to have her in my life.
